Control optimization and simulation of VAV air system

Presents a control optimization strategy of AHU based on the control optimization of the static pressure and temperature of supply air. Taking an actual building as example, optimizes the control strategy of the air system of the VAV system. TRNSYS is used to establish a model of VAV air system for a typical floor to calculate the energy consumption of the fan before and after control optimization, which is verified by measured data. In winter test day, with the input of supply air rate measured under variable pressure strategy and set static pressure, the simulation energy efficiency is about 19.38% for the typical floor, while the measured one of the whole building is 27.88%. The result shows that the optimal control scheme can reduce the energy consumption of the AHU fan efficiently.
